Many areas are actually moving away from tall signs.  When the low signs are in the zoning and they do landscaping, it looks really great.  I am in favor of Picayune banning all tall signs.

Yeah and any steel building must have a new facet to fit into the Southern charm.

We need a new sign ordinance and some stringent building codes for commercial buildings. No doubt about it.

 I know when Smitty built the "blue mall" up here on 43N folks tried to get him to put something there that was better than blue metal buildings..He went with what you see then dropped dead a couple years later..I think not to long after he got in trouble for loaning someone his Medicare card to get an operation..

There is a new sign up at the Cafe Orleans.
The Swamp Grill and Cajun Donut Shop.  "Home of the Swamp Donut" .  I am surprised they didn't open another Chinese Buffet.

Swamp Donut???  Sounds like an undercover daiquari shop....   I been in a lot of swamps, never seen a donut.
